1. Cuts so very cleanly!

   After watching Dave demo this tool at the recent Oregon Symposium, I bought this even though I had another I had made myself. After making a number of repetitive spindle pieces I find that this parts off without tear out as long as you are careful at the very last bit. This is a first for me. Keep this tool sharp which is easy to to and it will cut cleanly for you on end grain.

   I have used several parting tools, mostly diamond profile and home made from lumber mill bandsaw blades. This 1/8" taper grind tool with the nose profile it has is the first tool I have used that will part off cleanly.

   I really like this parting tool, and it works great. I would like it more if it had a round tang which would make it easier to mount in a handle

   As a new woodturner, I am slowly getting used to the tools of the trade. After studying the tools of the trade in depth, I decided to go with D-Way. I just received the new thin parting tool and am amazed at the ease of use and the fact that the tool is tapered and does not bind. As with my other D-Way tools this tool deserves an A+.

   Superior design and quality!!! I was in the need of a thin parting tool and after my first purchase of a couple of beading tools, I didn't hesitate to order this along with the 12 inch handle. I'm hooked on D-Way tools and will definitely be adding more to my collection.

   I love this parting tool. It's no-bind design is genius! Started using it 10 minutes after it was delivered. I turn a lot of pocket watches and pendant watches, an was always burning my other parting tool. Since this has arrived, I have relegated the old parting tool to the "back up" drawer.

    This is just one of several D-Way Tools in my arsenal, and like all the others, Dave designs them well and does a superb job of manufacturing. Love the tapered shaft.
