Roughing Gouges

Our Woodturning Roughing Gouges are all milled from M42 Cobalt HSS solid round bar. The tangs are stable and solid - unlike common roughing gouges stamped from plate. They also feature symmetrical flutes, with the sidewall the same thickness throughout the entire flute. No matter how you roll the tool, this feature gives you smooth, even cuts. As with all of our tools, flutes come highly polished and are shipped exceptionally sharp.
