Product Description
You asked for it - so we brought it back...Traditional "old school" Parting Tool.
This Standard Woodturning Parting Tool is made from M42 HSS (Cobalt) and has a 1/2" Tang.
It is a simple, economy based tool that is easy to use and sharpen. The cut is very clean and it is a great tool for Sizing Tenons, Beads, Coves, etc.
-- Recommend either the 8" or 12" handle with a 1/2" receiver. Tighten set screws into thin side of tang. --

This sharp parting tool is the best I now own. Sharpened, it holds to edge longer than any others I own. Love the fact that it was received already shaaarp and was put to immediate use.

Best parting tool I've owned! My first parting tool was a diamond parting tool by Sorby and this was a huge improvement. I've used D-Way Tools for a while after a friend of mine recommended them and absolutely love everything about them! Super high quality steel that holds and edge and stays sharp longer than any of my other tools in the shop. Highly recommend!

I have had several "starter kit" parting tools that worked but not as good as this one. Probably has to do with the steel quality of the D-Way tool. Lifetime tool especially if you use CBN wheel.
