1/4" STD Parting Tool - 1/2" Tang

You asked for it - so we brought it back...Traditional "old school" Parting Tool.

This Standard Woodturning Parting Tool is made from M42 HSS (Cobalt) and has a 1/2" Tang.

It is a thicker version of our simple, economy based 1/8" tool - with a wider cut. Easy to use and sharpen. The cut is very clean and it is a great tool for Sizing Tenons, Beads, Coves, etc.

Each end is 90 degrees square to the side, so the tool goes straight in and doesn't tilt. ~ Jimmie

-- Recommend either the 8" or 12" handle with a 1/2" receiver. Tighten set screws into thin side of tang. --
