This tool completes the items you need for making beads or cleaning up some of your errors. Love it.

Purchased with a couple of beading tools to clean the bottom of the beads, but also makes great freehand beads. And I also using for adding the fine detail on my Cindy Drozda style finials. Love the tool and really like the Dave and Larry double act on the videos. I have learnt so much.

I cheated a bit and borrowed this tool and a couple of beading tools from a fellow wood turner. After using his on some scrap wood for practice I went to my computer and ordered a set for myself. Since then I've used these to make a set of bee hives for my brother (a beekeeper) and the diamond tool worked extremely well. It's great for cleaning up between the beads or for making beads freehand. I wasn't certain I would need this tool but now I'm glad I got it.

This tool is more versatile than I imagined. It nice for rounding the outside edges of your beading or making touching up for instance if one or the slots between your beads doesn't seem as deep as the rest. It's not too hard to use to make your custom width beads - just be sure to practice first.
I'm just starting to experiment with this as a more general purpose tool for cleaning up rough edges on my turnings.

Just purchase a couple of beading tools along with a teardrop tool and a 3/4" bottom feeder bowl gouge. Ran the through a few project and am really impressed with the quality and finish of these tools. Great job Dave and keep up the great work. Bill.

I bought this tool along with two beading tools. I’m really glad that I added this to my order, as it is an excellent complement to them! Very easy to use to do detail work, touch up beads, or even to make very small beads. Delivery here to France took less than ten calendar days.

This tool makes the detail work a breeze. I found it by looking for a good beading tool but this surpasses all expectations.

I mentioned this Diamond (pear) tool in another review as part of the beading tool set, but it bears repeating here. There are a few tools for cutting V grooves but I don't think any of them can approach the precision, the depth and the razor thin cut of this tool - other than maybe a knife. And a knife would not stand up without frequent sharpening and probability of breakage.
This Diamond tool provides a reliable, repeatable, deep, sharp groove. The angle of approach allows this tool to cut gently or aggressively while providing beautiful precision. The pear-shaped profile makes it easy to roll out of a V groove, if you like, and round the edges of the groove for various effects with much less risk than other tools might offer.
The long, sharp profile allows easy sharpening by just touching up the flat end - you never have to address the sharp edge. This is a truly unique tool that you will find many uses for. The design is clever and, as with all Dave's tools, the manufacturing and material are top notch.

This is an excellent tool. It provides exacting grooves as well as allowing me to clean up any little issues I make using D-ways beading tools.
