3. Easiest way to the sharpest, deepest grooves

   I mentioned this Diamond (pear) tool in another review as part of the beading tool set, but it bears repeating here. There are a few tools for cutting V grooves but I don't think any of them can approach the precision, the depth and the razor thin cut of this tool - other than maybe a knife. And a knife would not stand up without frequent sharpening and probability of breakage.
   
   This Diamond tool provides a reliable, repeatable, deep, sharp groove. The angle of approach allows this tool to cut gently or aggressively while providing beautiful precision. The pear-shaped profile makes it easy to roll out of a V groove, if you like, and round the edges of the groove for various effects with much less risk than other tools might offer.
   
   The long, sharp profile allows easy sharpening by just touching up the flat end - you never have to address the sharp edge. This is a truly unique tool that you will find many uses for. The design is clever and, as with all Dave's tools, the manufacturing and material are top notch.

6. great detail tool

   I purchased this with a set of beading tools. Like them this tool cuts beautifully, with no tear out and a clean finish. I touch up with 600 grit abrenet and am ready to finish. If used as demonstrated, the tool will not catch or grab and does a stupendous job with detail work and bead clean up.

   This Diamond Tool is a very Universal tool to use with your beading tools and also to make super small beads. It is ready to go right out of the box and is very easy to sharpen

   I was amazed how quickly I learned to make clean, accurate cuts with this tool. It really is as advertised how easy it is to use and precisely place fine lines to cut beads or clean up separations and margins. This is a finesse tool requiring only a light touch. Initially, I used the tool without a handle but discovered after turning a 6" x 1.25" diameter handle, I had better control and rolled better beads. There is a lot of versatility in this tool and it's easy to sharpen but doesn't need it very often. Get one and I think you'll be impressed too.

10. Love this tool

    This is my second of this tool as the first one was purchased for my father and I finally decided I needed one of my own. I use this tool everyday as a production wood turner. In my day job I make parts for coffee machines and stairs and this tool has become indispensable for making beads and details lines. In my personal work I produce hundreds of bottle stoppers a year and every single one is made the much quicker with this tool. Every turner should have one.
