Our Woodturning Handles are milled from 6061 aluminum round bar rather than tubing for better balance and strength. They are 1-1/4" in diameter. A comfortable gently ribbed rubber cover, provides great grip and keeps hands from cold surface. Tool secured with two Stainless Steel 5/16" x 18 TPI set screws. Handle choice of 5/8" or 1/2" receivers.
The 8" Woodturning Handle is our go-to handle for beading tools, detail and spindle work - not heavy cuts.

Just the right length for my new beading tool. Also allows for turning the beader around to protect the cutting edge during travel.

I'm still a novice turner, but these handles are the perfect accompaniment to the Boxmaster tools.

I purchased this together with the 3/8" bushing, for use with my smaller skews and negative rake scrapers. This handle is light and such a pleasure to use. I plan to purchase some of the longer handles soon.

Simply the best! The handles have a perfect weight too them, not too heavy, not too light... just right! Helps me with controlling the tool and creating super smooth curves. Compared to any of my other handles these are the clear winner! Highly recommend!

This short handle is great for use with the beading tools. Still have plenty of room over the ways to do faceplate work on 18" lathe. Couldn't use the handle when working on my Jet 12" mini, but the tools work fine without the handle.

Have been using this handle for a few months now. Using it with the beading tools had made cutting beads easier and much more predictable. The handle itself if easy on the hands and provides just enough leverage to make the beading tools just cut very fine shavings (whips of wood). Really glad I broke down and got the handle, and the bushing.

I wasn't sure about these handles. The rubberized grip are perfect compared to handles that are not rubberized. Handle and bushing system allows you to spend less money on handles.

The 8" are in my opinion the best available for finesse tools like beading tools, or for any tool used on a mini lathe. Very well made and should last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone that wants the best.
