Our Detail Spindle Gouge flutes are individually inspected and hand polished to remove all machine marks. This extra step assures the sharpest cutting edge possible. Produced using M42 Cobalt HSS. We use the American method of measurement for the stated size - diameter of the tool. They are shipped sharp and ready to use out of the package.
