I purchased four sizes of the beading tools. Just like the rest of their products, these completely outperform even what the manufacturer states. Great quality, great results, easy to sharpen.

I originally bought the 1/4 in tool with handle. I wanted to give it a try. It worked so well I purchased the 1/8 and 3/8 tools. I only bought one handle and a bushing so I am able to just switch cutters. They really work nicely!

I ordered these along with the diamond tool (see my review) and love all three tools. The beading tools make it dead simple to make consistent beads. I'm lazy so it's nice to be able to breeze through a tedious process.
If you're thinking about buying don't hesitate - you will enjoy using them.

I purchased 4 beading tools (1/16, 3/32 1. 1/8 and the Diamond tool) and a 12” handle and knob. What a simple system to master. But the jewel of my buy was the Diamond tool. I was trying to make small beads and the 1/16 was not small enough. The diamond tool worked but the learning curve was a little longer, however the result were great. The handles I found a little fat or bulky for the beading tools, but it was outstanding for my other gouges. I though the knob was a little clunky but after a little use I kind of like it too. Highest of quality product, far superior to the beading tools I had. I will be buying the rest of the set in the future.
[Appreciate the positive review. We have the best customers out there!!
For those considering purchase of handles for Beading Tools, strongly suggest use of an 8" Handle (1/2" Receiver w/ 1/2" - 3/8" Bushing)]

Nice high quality tools. Have only had the chance to use them on one project but they have worked great and are still holding the original edge.

I have been using the D-Way beading tools for several years, and find that with proper technique, they can form great beads in many different types of wood. I recommend these tools when I am doing demos and workshops, for my students who want to use the best tool for the job.

I purchased the 1/8” and 3/16” beading tools. These work well right from the start, with a very short learning curve (after watching Dave’s video). They produce perfectly uniform beads. Even my practice pieces look great. Purchased these based on forum discussions and basket illusion videos. I’m very pleased with this purchase. The tools arrived razor sharp here in France in less than ten calendar days. Thanks Dave!

Just purchased the last two to complete the set. Matched up with the 8" handles these are the very best beading tools available. With proper care they will last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone that wants the best.

I saw some very interesting beadwork done by experienced turners and wanted to have a go. I friend here in New Zealand told me about D-Way Tools and after comparing them to other brands, I decided to give them a go. The quality of the metal and machining is superb. You are best to carefully watch all of Dave's videos as these tools are used in a unique way. They need to be very sharp, used with the tool rest raised about 3/4" and cut with very light pressure. Basically they are "shaped scrappers". Layout of the beads is effortless. The Diamond tool is great for bead detail and other similar work. This review applies for the tools I bought: 1/2, 3/8, 3/16 and Diamond point.
