Had previously tried beading with a spindle gouge and it was not good. These beading tools make all the difference. Now I put beads on everything as they are easy to use and that makes you want to try different things with them.

This beading tool gives a nice added touch to some bowls. I tend to use it on bowls with less grain to give them some character. I purchased the 8" handle with it and it's a perfect fit. Handle is heavy enough to give a solid feel. Great combination.

These beading tools are great. My first time trying D-way tools and I will come back for more when the time comes. They are high quality and work perfectly for making beads on my basket weave illusion bowls and forms. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for these.

I turn small bowls from soft wood and was surprised that I was able to get a clean bead. There is a learning curve but that is with any new tool you buy. I would recommend the product and company for quality and service.

Splendid tools. Arrive sharp with the cutting part protected.
Really like the shear cutting approach rather than scraping. Find it much easy to keep the tops on the beads than using the previous scraping tools.
Also like the fact they come un-handled. I'm six five and have hands the size of diner plates so like to turn my own handles to suit using One-Way Thread-Lok ferrules.

I got the 3/8 and 1/8 inch beading tools. After a few minutes of experimenting I was able to add some nice interest to my turned pieces.
Easy to use and very good quality tools.

I purchased four sizes of the beading tools. Just like the rest of their products, these completely outperform even what the manufacturer states. Great quality, great results, easy to sharpen.

I originally bought the 1/4 in tool with handle. I wanted to give it a try. It worked so well I purchased the 1/8 and 3/8 tools. I only bought one handle and a bushing so I am able to just switch cutters. They really work nicely!

I ordered these along with the diamond tool (see my review) and love all three tools. The beading tools make it dead simple to make consistent beads. I'm lazy so it's nice to be able to breeze through a tedious process.
If you're thinking about buying don't hesitate - you will enjoy using them.
