I use these beading tools often. I think they are high quality, and well-worth the cost. The shipping speed was super-fast. Highly recommend!

I can't convey how pleased I am with the performance of the 1/8 and 1/4 in ones I have! Easy to use and sharpen (they came sharp and ready to go).

The way these are made make them the best beading tools available. You can lay one bead next to another without any space and it is not necessary to use them with a handle for beading inside inside a bowl.

Using these beading tools lets me achieve the quality and consistency I would never get otherwise. A great product for sure.

Nice tools to make beads more consistent. My final project looks great.
I am going to buy more sizes.

Originally I purchased the 1/8 inch and 3/16 inch beading tools to give them a try.
I was so impressed that later on I went ahead and additionally purchased the diamond (AKA : teardrop) and 1/4 inch beading tools to complement the two others I had already purchased. I watch for the on sale items and pounce on them.
As with any tool you need to practice a little before using on a finishing project but the learning curve is pretty low. Everything comes sharp when shipped and they are easily sharpened with a (CBN) 180 grit wheel, they are easily "touched" up in about a second or so, ( takes longer to set up the platform than to sharpen). I also use a diamond card in between the grindings and that works well also.
I have used these on bowls (rims and foot) as well as spindle work (boxes mainly, inside lids, bottoms, and sides). The grain orientation doesn't matter with these tools.
I can roll beads the conventional way but prefer to use these handy little tools in those very "difficult / highly technical" area's of embellishments. . ( no one will ever suspect anyway )
Oh yes::: a very important note --- made in the USA!!!! Please support the USA based businesses when possible.
PS: when considering a size the one I use the most so far is the 1/8 inch.
I would post a couple of pictures but I don't think I can in this review format.
One other thing, I made my own handles for these tools as I like using my "hand made" turned handles so for info purposes only, you will need a 25/64 drill bit to accept the tangs into the handles, also drill a relief hole so the epoxy can escape at the bottom of the hole and prevent from creating a vacuum lock when inserting the handles. At least that is what I did.
Happy turning!!

I’m a novice woodturner still trying to get consistent results and these tools have been a definite step forward. The diamond tool is a great tool for cleaning up any type of fine detail work. For consistent beads on a bowl - this is the perfect tool for me.

Quality tool, steel, and sharpening. A lifetime tool. A pleasure to use, especially if you have tried any other.

Easy to make very clean beads in seconds to your end grain!
I also recommend the diamond tool for clean up and relief cuts between beads and other textures.
