"Mini" Extreme Round Nose Neg Rake Scraper 1-1/2" x 3/8" with 5/8" Tang

Smaller version of the Extreme Round Nose Negative Rake Scraper. 1-1/2" x 3/8" x 9" with 5/8" Tang. 

This Round Nose Negative Rake Scraper is much more user friendly to use than a standard scraper. Great for removing material and finishing cuts.

What makes the round nose different is that you can use both sides of the tool. The long radius excels at refining an outside curve. Can also be used on inside curves. The bottom edges of the tool are eased to facilitate using on the side as a shear scraper. Sharpen at 20* top angle and 70* bottom. The weight & heft of this tool gives you better control! Suggest using a 12 or 16 inch handle. 

Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.
