 Product Description

Smaller version of the Extreme Straight Spear Point Negative Rake Scraper.  1-1/2" x 3/8" x 9" - 5/8" Tang.

It may look intimidating, but with the negative rake - this will soon become one of your favorite tools. The weight & heft of this tool gives you better control.
This scraper is a great for detail work and finishing the outside of bowls.
Works for getting in close to chucks and performing detail work on your piece.

 Best tool out there for refining at outside curve!

We are sure you will find many other uses for this tool. 

Sharpen at 20* top angle and 70* bottom. A business card sharpening setup gauge will accompany order. (Check out our video on how to sharpen and use these tools.)

Suggest using a 12 or 16 or 20 inch handle.

Limited run of this size steel - for those who would like a larger tool, but do not need the heft of a nearly 2" wide tool. ~ Jimmie

  1. Strong and Solid - perfect for refining outside of small bowls

    Purchased and delivery was within 3 days. Stout and strong - using mainly for small bowls refining external walls and truing up foot of bowl edge. No chatter - takes and holds a burr edge for an extended period - reduces the amount of moving the tool rest (ie thickness permits longer overhand). Highly recommend….will be buying more from DWAY…..youtube videos on how to put on a burr and roll an edge - very helpful inclusive of the sharpening template received with the tool. Very satisfied with purchase.
