 Product Description

Our Woodturning Handles are milled from 6061 aluminum round bar rather than tubing for better balance and strength. A comfortable gently ribbed rubber cover provides great grip and keeps hands from cold surface. Tool secured with two Stainless Steel 5/16" x 18 TPI set screws. They are 1-1/4" in diameter.

The 8" Woodturning Handle is the go-to handle for beading tools, detail and spindle work - not heavy cuts.

  1. I have several D-Way tools

    Though we own several D-Way tools, you can never have too many. I find where my wife and I both turn, it seems more practical for each of the gouges, skews and scrapers we have to have a handle for each. I also find that removing the tool from the handle before sharpening makes handling much easier.

    It is a nice heavy solid handle. The handle holds the tool securely and the weight offsets the torque while using the tool. The material covering the handle prevents the metal from feeling cold to the touch or slippery. I really like it even if it doesn't have a hand contour to it.

    This is a nice, solid handle. Heavy enough to feel worthy and light enough to not cause fatigue. I purchased the handle for the beading tools. I would purchase it again.

    A very comfortable well engineered handle with the right heft for stability when doing finesse work with medium size tools or general work with smaller tools. With proper care it will last a lifetime. Added a quick change knob for easier tool change outs. These are the best available.
