 Product Description

We have received multiple requests asking us to provide a 20" Handle - here it is. Thanks to our customers for providing the input and support necessary to help us improve our product line. 

20" Handle 1 1/4" in diameter.

Our Woodturning Handles are milled from 6061 air craft aluminum round stock for better balance and strength. We have received excellent feedback from our customers on the composition, size and weight of our handle - comfortable rubber cover, great grip, balanced, and keeps hands from cold surface. 

Tools are secured with two Stainless Steel set screws 5/16" x 18 TPI. Our Quick Change Knobs are a great choice also, lets you position the tool in or out to your desired length of reveal, and allows for quick removal for sharpening. They are 1 1/4" in diameter.

Use this handle for all your heavier cuts.

  1. Comfortable, portable and quick change.

    This handle feel good in my hand. As I turn weekly at a studio out of my house, I need to transport my tools so I have been transitioning to turning tools without handles and just bringing a few D-way handles with me. The quick change knob is great. Holds securely and is very fast. I also like the fact that I can adjust how far the tool extends from the handle for different cuts. The new 20" handle is great for aggressive cuts.

    I've used D-Way Tools for a while after a friend of mine recommended them and absolutely love everything about them! The handles have a perfect weight too them, not too heavy, not too light... just right! Helps me with controlling the tool and creating super smooth curves. Compared to any of my other handles these are the clear winner! Highly recommend!

    Needed a larger handle for my D-Way tools since I make some large diameter deep bowls. This handle fits the bill. Feels great in my hands and gives me the leverage and comfort level that I need to reach in those deep bowls with Jimmie's negative rake finishing tools.

    I love D Way tools. This handle is strong and beefy. It is comfortable to use and the quick change knobs are excellent.
