Our Quick Change Knobs are a great choice also. Lets you position the tool in or out to your desired length of reveal, and allows for quick removal for sharpening. They are 1-1/4" in Diameter
Use this handle for all your heavier cuts.

I just love this handle. The length is just right, nicely balanced, and its weight is never an issue when turning. I recommend it to friends and students. It's a great buy!

Works great changing between the bowl gouge and scraper. Very easy and quick using the quick change knob.
D Way tools are great!

My favorite handle, very comfortable. Not too big. Fits in my hand just right. The foam makes for a good grip.

I've used D-Way Tools for a while after a friend of mine recommended them and absolutely love everything about them! The handles have a perfect weight too them, not too heavy, not too light... just right! Helps me with controlling the tool and creating super smooth curves. Compared to any of my other handles these are the clear winner! Highly recommend!

This is the second tool handle that I purchased from D-Way. Like the first one, it is excellent--well made, comfortable to use and I especially like the optional quick disconnect knurled knob that allows me to remove the steel for sharpening.
Yes, I can turn my handles, and have; but, but these are well worth the asking price.

This is my first D-Way Tools handle.
I have two other handles from different manufacturers and this quickly became my favorite.
- Fast shipping, great service.

I am new to negative rake scrapers although I’ve been woodturning for 19 years. I bought the round nose negative rake scraper from D-Way with the long aluminum handle as an experiment. I then ordered another model and then a third.
The negative rake scrapers are excellent at fine scraping and they leave a smooth surface. The large aluminum handles absorb vibrations but are not so heavy as to be bulky.
I like being able to detach the scrapers from the handles for sharpening. I use the D-Way wheels on my grinder and find the 80 grit works well on the scrapers.
Good products and the people are easy to deal with.
Blessings,
Doug Lewis

I used a negative rake scraper (DWAY 1 1/4" round) for the first time. It had the DWAY long handle mounted. My first impressions were (1) this handle feels good in the hands and (2) the finish on this scraper is exquisite. I normally use Glaser tools so I have a high standard.
The first application was on a cherry bowl where my Glasers were tearing the fibers. The DWAY scraper left a very smooth surface. I'm so sold that I ordered a second scraper with the same long handle.

Bought several handles at one time both 12" and 16" handles. Although I own several these newer handles will be dedicated to several gouges with a different gouge grind. This way it will be easy to distinguish them because these will be marked with colored tape on the ends of the handles.
