 Product Description

Our 12" Woodturning Handles with 1/2" or 5/8" receiver is a nice size handle for use with the majority of our tools. It also is a popular size for smaller lathes. 

Our Woodturning Handles are milled from 6061 aircraft aluminum round stock for better balance and strength. A comfortable gently ribbed rubber cover provides great grip, keeps hands from cold surface, and sheds shavings. Tools are secured with two Stainless Steel set screws 5/16" x 18 TPI. Our Quick Change Knobs are a great choice also. Lets you position the tool in or out to your desired length of reveal, and allows for quick removal for sharpening.

    I have many and love them all. They remain comfortable in all weather extremes, and absorb a bit of virbration.

    This is my second handle. I purchased the first for the Beading Tools (that are excellent) and then needed a 5/8 handle. The quality is EXCELLENT, it is easy to use, especially with the Quick Change Knob. I highly recommend this product.

    I have both the 10 in and 12 in handles. Both work great for the beading tools and the boxmaster negative rake scrapers. Previously I had used longer 16" handles but find these better for more detailed work.

    Other than the handles I make myself with D-Way tools nothing does the job to securely hold the tool and have the feature of quick release for sharpening.

    Have a D-Way handle for each of my D-Way tools except the beading tools set share two. They feel good in the hand and are well balanced in use. They are the only removable handles I use. Highly recommended if you want the best.

    This handle is perfectly balanced. Feels great to use I definitely recommend... I wish, I wouldn't have wasted my time making handles - should have used my time on fun stuff...
