1/2" Double-ended Tenon & Lid Recess Tool
This is an essential tool for both small & large boxes. One end cuts the recess in the lid. The other end cuts the tenon on the box for the lid to rest on.
Our Neg Rake geometry is much more user friendly than standard scrapers - prevents catches and provides better tool control.
20* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.
-- Recommend an 8" Handle with a 1/2" receiver. Tighten the set screws into the thin side of the tool. --

Terrific multi-purpose tool

While stated that it is for boxes and lids, the tools does an excellent job shaping and finishing bowls, etc.

I have purchased 6 or 7 gouges and neg. scrapers from D-Way and all have been great tools to use. The upside-down sharpening technique for negative rake scrapers is a huge improvement as well.
