1/2" Double-ended Curved NEG Rake Scraper
Used for hollowing boxes, goblets, & other detailed work. The small contact surface excels at boring a hole quickly.
Our Neg Rake geometry is much more user friendly than standard scrapers - prevents catches and provides better tool control.
20* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.
-- Recommend an 8" Handle with a 1/2" receiver. Tighten the set screws into the thin side of the tool. --

Best negative rake scraper I've every used

These scrapers are equal to turning tools, they are so sharp. I was absolutely amazed at how they could almost be used as a turning tool because they took off such a fine ribbon of shaving. The sharpening platforms make re-sharping a no-brainer (anyone can do it and worth the extra cost). Love the tool, I bought both the smaller and larger sizes.

Get one for your collection. The double edge feature is wonderful, I really appreciate being able to work off of both sides. Once again this tool is a thing of beauty; it will hog off material but also leave a virtually flawless finish.

Leaves a Nice finish

I bought this and a couple of other scrapers to finish some small bowls. They do a nice job and having the two complementary grinds allows me to work on both the inside and outside by just swapping ends in the handle. They work great blending the sides into the bottom. The raised platform for the Oneway platform makes sharpening these easy.
