 Product Description

All 1/2" Bowl Gouge - Fingernail Grind flutes are individually inspected and hand polished to remove all machine marks. This extra step assures the sharpest cutting edge possible. They are shipped sharp.

Use the Fingernail Grind Bowl Gouge for roughing out - smaller pieces smaller gouge, larger pieces larger gouge. It is also very useful when you roll it on the side and use it as a sheer scraper. Excellent for removing small tool marks and to finesse a long curve.

    I have been impressed with all Dway products. I have the CBN wheels and a couple bowl gauges. I'm confident in anything Dave sells.

    Our club has been buying D-Way tools for about 3 years. As new members ask about good tools to buy we recommend the 1/2" gouge without reservation. Everyone who purchased it has enjoyed the cutting characteristics of edge durability and the finish cut it produces. We feel D-Way tools are the best wood turning tools made.
