  1. extremely versatile spear point

    I tend to use scrapers to refine a surface, and the spear point excels at that. It is very easy to rotate the tool to flow around an outside curve and take off fine shavings to eliminate any irregularities or tool marks.

    What I find equally useful with the spear point design is that it can be used to quickly remove a lot of mass. I find I can plunge it in at an angle and in a series of passes get a lot of waste wood removed. This might be my new favorite scraper.
