Skews

Our Woodturning Skews are made from the same M42 cobalt HSS. Our skews come incredibly sharp and ready to use. Skew bottom edge has a full radius to facilitate easy maneuverability and a seamless transition along the tool rest. Top edge is squared off with the edges nicely eased and our tangs have a 45-degree chamfer. This level of finish makes the tool feel great in your hand and prevent tool marks on the lathe tool rest. We offer four sizes.

• LARGE: 1-5/16" wide, 3/8" thick with a 5/8" tang
• MEDIUM: 1" wide, 5/16" thick with a 5/8" tang
• SMALL: 3/4" wide, 9/32" thick with a 1/2" tang
• DETAIL: 1/2" wide, 1/4" thick with a 1/2" tang

These are great tools for roughing out spindle work and beautiful clean cuts.
