Round Nose Negative Rake Scraper - 1" x 5/16" - 5/8" Tang.

These Round nose Negative Rake Scraper not only remove material quickly, they are also excellent finishing scrapers. Much more user friendly to use than standard scraper - hard to get a catch with.

What makes the round nose different is that you can use both sides of the tool. The long radius excels at refining an outside curve. Can also be used on inside curves. The bottom edges of the tool are eased to facilitate using on the side as a shear scraper.

A great tool for use on inside of larger boxes, medium sized bowls, and other turnings.

20* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.
