Powdered Metal (PM) 10-V Steel.  1/2" Bowl Gouge with Parabolic Flute - Fingernail Grind

Have a limited supply of bowl gouges in this PM steel. Remainder from a custom order and an opportunity to try our profile with the 10-V material.

There are two camps out there. Some prefer the M42 Steel and some the 10-V Steel. 

All flutes are individually inspected and hand polished to remove all machine marks. This extra step assures the sharpest cutting edge possible.  Sold unhandled. They are shipped sharp.

Use the Fingernail Grind Bowl Gouge for roughing out - smaller pieces smaller gouge, larger pieces larger gouge. It is also very useful when you roll it on the side and use it as a sheer scraper.

Excellent for removing small tool marks and to finesse a long curve.
