Curved Negative Rake Scraper 1-5/16" x 3/8" x 9" - 5/8" Tang.
The weight & heft of these massive Scrapers gives you ultimate control. They are much more user friendly to use than a standard scraper, and hard to get a catch with. Long radius excels at refining the shape.
20* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must for finishing wood, and turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.

This thing works great! I slightly changed the bevel angles to match pre-sets on my grinding platform. That combined with the quick release knob makes sharpening super fast. The heft of this with a 16" handle makes precise final shaping a reality. I typically use it to finish inside of bowls but today used it for the outside of a hollow form. I don't remember why but using a regular scraper pointing down (handle up) is not at all the same as using a NRS, and this proves it!

An Impressive and Effective tool

I have other, smaller scrapers which I thought did a good job. But, after my first use with this big boy, I was really impressed. Its weight and large curve is perfect for my bowls and saves me lots of sanding to get a similar finish. Its large size makes it easy to control on those interrupted cuts. The steel sharpens easily and the burr lasts much longer than my other scrapers. My only regret is I wish I had bought it earlier. IMO, it's a terrific tool.

I could not believe a tool could do the job as well as this scraper. It sharpens easily , remains sharp and makes the project slick as Goat Lips !
Customer service is 2nd to none.
I have no doubt that if anyone purchases this tool , they will be awesomely pleased.

Great tool for that final touch up. I've never been a big user of scrapers, but this one has won me over. This is no light weight. It will hold it's own against the toughest of grain. Very glad I got it!

I have numerous tools from D-way, all of them are worth the extra as they hold an edge really well. This NR scraper gives me really smooth finishes and reduces my sanding!
