1. Fantastic tool - I found a Tormek setting that matched the grind

   I have been purchasing D-Way tools for about a year now. Every one is a gem. I have two beading tools, a bedan, thin parting tool and this 1/2 bowl gouge fingernail grind. I watched the video, but had a hard time translating the information to my grinder setup. I also have a Tormek as well as the Tormek adapter for the bench grinder. I played around with settings on the Tormek and discovered that using a Jig setting "2" and a Protrusion distance of 65mm an using "A" hole setup gave me a grind that was almost exactly what I got from D-Way tools originally.
   I'm very happy with this result as well as the wonderful quality of this tool.

2. Best tools ever

   I bought the 1/2" bowl gouge and the thin parting tool as well as the long handle. I wore out my Amazon 1/2" bowl gouge in just over year. The quality of these tools is amazing, and I find they really do stay sharper longer. I plan on buying more tools from D-way in the future. Also the videos are great. I'm so glad that I saw the review on You Tube. I'm also a Washington resident so it's nice to support a local quality business.

   This is my 3rd tool from d-way tools. It is the "Go to" tool for most of my turnings.

5. Best Gouge on the Market

   This is my second 1/2" bowl gouge from D-Way, and I've owned gouges from Thompson, Sorby, Crown, and Penn State. None work as well or stay sharp longer than my D-Way gouges. I've also purchased several other tools from them, all are superior. Forget the other guys, just buy from D-Way. Excellent service too.

6. First REAL Bowl gouge

   My first real bowl gouge so can't compare, but it performs smoothly and stays really sharp. I also bought the 1/2" spindle gouge on the same date and I've been making mounds of shavings doing Christmas market items. What a joy to turn wood and not constantly going to the grinder to sharpen. This is one really SUPER tool. From this experience, I'll only be buying to D-Way tools to replace my other worn out tools. SUPER SERVICE and speed of shipping. Big Thanks to D-way tools for making my hobby more fun.

   These are nice tools that sharpen easily , remain sharpe and feel great in your hands.
   I have several D-way tools and will continue to support D-way tools with my future purchases .
   
   Their customer service is outstanding , just can’t say enough about D-way tools to shed light on them as well as should be .

9. Great gouge for finish work

   I turn hundreds of bowls per year. I use this particular type gouge as a finisher. Usually I use them on rough turned bowls after drying.

    Like all the D-Way tools I own, this one is a fine tool. Sharp out of the box and beautifully finished. Nobody ships faster than Cindy either.
