Square Nose Negative Rake Scraper - 3/4" x 9/32 x 9" - 1/2" Tang.
A great tool for use on wide tenons, refining outside curves, and general purpose clean up. Our Neg Rake geometry is much more user friendly than standard scrapers - prevents catches and provides better tool control.
Modification: Our customers have provided feedback that when they slightly round the corners it excels on flat bottom bowls, trays, and platters.
20* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hardwoods.
Recommend either an 8" or 12" handle, depending on projects or personal preference.
