1. Great Spindle Roughing Gouge

   First, I really liked it that this tool came sharpened and ready to use. Great for small and medium sized projects. This is my go to tool on many spindle related projects I can great finishing cuts and due the the smaller size, I use it to shape project handles.

   This tool holds a sharp edge for a very long time. Very solid feeling with no vibration. Quickly removes a lot of material in a short time.

   I bought this roughing gouge to compliment my skew. It showed up nicely packaged. The finish is great with a highly polished flute and very sharp. It has been a great addition to my tool collection.

   Another superb tool from D-Way. Arrived sharp. Does exactly what I bought it to do. Heavy tang worth the money. I really like the M42 steel. Use it for small and medium spindle turning and for traveling to shows and demos

   Great tool for knocking off those dreaded corners. Super easy to re-sharpen which means it will be the go to tool.

   Jimmie makes great tools and this bowl gouge is no exception. Very sharp when received and the details and finish are just perfect. Hard to go wrong with D-Way tools in my experience

9. One great spindle roughing gouge

   Hands down, D-Way tools are the best. I bought this tool at the end of 2020 and have used it on all kinds of different woods and acrylics. I honestly believe you will not find a better spindle roughing gouge anywhere on this planet.
   
   Right out of the box it is ready to use. Absolutely sharp and extremely well made. I use it to rough out nearly everything I turn, from pens to box and bowl exteriors.
   
   You can't go wrong with D-Way and Boxmaster tools.

10. 3/4 Inch Roughing Gouge

    A very nice roughing gouge for small and medium sized projects. I have not used the gouge a lot as yet, but it worked well for what I have done. Much more comfortable to use than larger gouges. Quality of the tool is exceptional, holds an edge well. Will likely buy more D-Way tools in the future.
