Round nose Negative Rake Scraper is a excllent finishing scraper, much more user friendly to use than standard scraper, hard to get a catch with.
Round Nose- 9/32" x 3/4"-1/2" Tang. This scraper is a great tool for use on inside of boxes, used on its left side great as a shear scraper to remove small ridges on bowls and other turnings.
25* top angle and 70* bottom. Negative Rake scrapers are a must if you are turning plastic, acrylics, or dense hard woods.

I am very impressed with the quality and balance of these tools. As soon as I pick them up I can feel the quality and perfection that went into making these tools. It is easy to use, easy to sharpen and holds a edge longer than others I have used

An unexpected surprise, this little tool filled a gap in my arsenal that I didn't realize was needed. Tried it for the first time on the interior of a 6" dry maple burl deep umeke. It left a very refined surface that is far superior to the conventional scraper I have been using for years. This is my new secret weapon for small scale closed form work. Looking forward to exploring it to it's full potential. Another great D-Way tool for the collection.

When I received the Negative Rake Scraped, I mounted it in the handle and started to work almost immediately. It took me only a couple minutes to "get use to the scraper" I was well pleased with the performance.
