1. Makes my Tormek T4 an efficient reshaping machine

   I purchased this D-Way eight inch 180 grit flat wheel to use with my Tormek T4. The Tormek is a great sharpening machine, however, reshaping is slow. Combining D-Way and Tormek offers much faster heavy grinding combined with the control of the Tormek's 100 RPM. It allows me to use the full range of Tormek jigs without needing a second grinder.
   Communication with Dave is excellent. No complaints with the fine service and informative videos. Machining is first-rate. The inch and a half width fits the T4 well. I much prefer it to using an adapted dry grinder with a narrower wheel.
   A quality product from an honest dealer; I would buy again.

2. Great grinding wheel!

   Love it! I've been wanting a CBN grinding wheel for a long time, and treated myself to one for the holidays. Makes sharpening seem easier and fun, plus it's more pleasant on your ears than the stone wheels. I don't yet sharpen like the pros, but I'm getting better.

3. Wonderful Tool

   I'm relatively new to turning and have been trying a lot of different grinding wheels and alternative ways to get a comfortable edge on gouges (e.g., 35 degree vs 40 degree bevels). My lathe club has a D-Way CBN wheel and it gets a lot of use. Everyone goes to it even though we have 3 other grinding wheels available. It does a great job and saves me from grinding my gouges to nubs or ruining the temper of the steel. I decided to buy wheels for my home shop rather that continue to use the oxide wheels that came with the grinder. Money well spent because I now enjoy tool sharpening and my bowl turning have improved...my technique is still lousy, but the cuts are cleaner.

   In my opinion, it is not worth attempting to compare or rate the CBN grinding wheels against aluminum oxide wheels. The only thing going for the aluminum oxide wheels is their cost as compared to CBN wheels. Everything else is so much better, that even the cost (assuming you have the funds available) is a no brainer!
   
   I am extremely pleased with the ease of use and performance of my new CBN grinding wheel.

5. A great investment

   I have seen and used these CBN wheels before and knew that one day I would purchase one for sharpening my turning tools. After doing some research I found that Dave at D-Way Tools offered the best price, plus he was local.
   I placed my order one evening and it was shipped out by noon the next day and on my porch in two days.
   Using this wheel gives me an excellent, clean and sharp edge every time without the dust or heat buildup that you get from regular wheels..
   This was truly a great investment that will last for a long time.

   I've seen and used these CBN wheels to sharpen wood lathe toolsin the past and knew that I would eventually purchase one of my own. My turn finally came and I ordered my 8" wheel from D-Way Tools because not only was he a local dealer but he had the best price.
   My wheel was shipped within 12 hours after I placed my order and I received it in two days.
   My new CBN wheel does a great job when sharpening my tools without the heat build up that you get from other regular grinding wheels. I get a nice sharp edge for a good smooth cut.
   This was a great investment.

   My order was processed quickly and I received my wheel in two days normal delivery.
   
   The 180 grit wheel works well and is wide enough that I don't slide off the wheel while sharpening.
   
   Product is well balanced and the bushing fit perfectly.

10. No more alluminum oxide dust

    I purchased one 180 CBN wheel last week. I mounted it on my grinder and was very surprised. I expected it to be good, but it was great. It is quiet and very effective at both touching up and reshaping my tools. And, best of all, no dust! I will be purchasing another soon so I don't have to keep changing the jig around when sharpening gouges and scrapers.
